after weeks of stalking Glamour Box Philippines' twitter account, i was finally able to get my hands on their April beauty box! I've read wonderful reviews of their previous boxes and i just had to have one. so when a little bird told me they were opening slots for April, I stalked their website until their subscriptions page went live! haha!
unboxing my first ever Glamour Box and i am greeted with a ton of eco-friendly products!
but i wasn't entirely happy at first cos the first thing that caught my eye was the lightening soap that came with the box. actually, i got two and not one. in the dead of summer and with a summer getaway in play, who would be happy to receive lightening products? would you be happy? but like all beauty boxes and/or presents, little surprises await in the little corners of my box. out of the 7 items, 3 are my new favorites!
number 1 favorite: PIXI Tinted Brilliance Balm Magic Tink Tint
Happy Thoughts Pink shade
okay, that was quite a handful but this magic tink tint is an amazing gel crayon! it provides deep nourishing, its minty (FAVORITE!) and long lasting! it gives your lips a healthy pink color and the right amount of sheen. its perfect for days when i dont want to go heavy on the lips with lipstick. *Its made with shea butter and lip-plumping hyaluronic acid, it will keep your lips in optimum condition.
number 2 favorite: MOX Botanicals Lip Butter
in Coconut Almondine
if you are like me who cannot sleep without putting on lip balm (or doing your nightly regimen/ritual) because dry lips make you uneasy, this lip butter will give you soft supple lips until morning! this may come in a very cutiepatootie pot but all you really need is one swipe of your finger to dab on your lips. i alternately use this with my EOS lip balm, so my 1 pot could very well last up to 6 months. or more!

number 3 favorite: HOLLYWOOD STYLE Light Summer Lotion
this was a total surprise! at first i thought this would be like all the other "summer lotions" i've tried that promises to be very non-sticky and light but proves to be otherwise. this glides softly on the skin and is easily absorbed! No sticky or greasy feeling after you put this on and even throughout the day. use this product for even just a week and expect replenished and hydrated skin instantly. but the very reason why i love this is because it's surprisingly light! very perfect for our insanely hot weather!

DROPLETS OF NATURE Beauty and Bright Moringa Soap
this i've tried this for a week and i love the clean citrus-y smell and feel everytime i use this but the very downside is how i feel squeaky clean every after bath time. it somehow makes me feel like i've stripped my skin of all its natural moisturizers. so i stopped using this and gave it to my eldest daughter's nanny. she's die-hard on whitening while im very much happy with my slightly tanned color thank you.
MIR AND RYVI Banana/Tomato/Papaya Soap
i will pass on whitening/lightening products for now. too afraid that when the husband comes home and plan a beach escapade, i wont tan very well. uneven skin is not very sexy, yes?
