Crimped Hair

i've been wanting to get a digital perm since i've (successfully) grown out my pixie cut but for some reason, i always chicken out at the last minute. not that i haven't tried it before, cos i have and twice at that, but its the fixity that i am not very comfortable with. there are times when i feel like using a curling iron but on most days, i just want them straight with a few crazy strands that sort of twirl on their own which is kinda cute. so its always a debate whether or not to just go for beach wave curls or the usual straight. i know that i can always have my locks straightened if ever i dont want the loose bouncy curls anymore but i dont want to damage them any further either. so because i cannot make up my mind and my sister has a crazy thing for hair and some hair tools, we tried her hair crimper on me just so i cant get the hang of it.

it only lasted for a day since we didn't use setting lotion or spray but it sure gave me that certain feeling of urgency to get a digital perm again. im looking at Gisele Bündchen and Kate Hudson so maybe a few more inches in length and i will finally give in to that!

any thoughts on digital perm or hair crimping?
