if you are following my instagram account, im sure you know by now that i am obsessed with Vania's little corner in the master's bedroom. i was gonna start renovating her own bedroom but given that we still have one major job to accomplish before i can start with the re-painting, i thought it best to just concentrate on her corner first since she's still co-sleeping with me.

Earlier this year, the decals started falling off. pffft!
on my first post about some DIY projects for our house, i showed you guys what her corner looked like with her crib and wall decals. over time, since the decals were cheaply made (less than Php500 per design,) they started falling off. either its because of the material or my husband just installed them with sweaty hands. haha! so i scoured the world wide web for Philippine based shops that sell wall decals that are made of good vinyl quality and chanced upon Wall Deco PH's instagram account. i was over the moon when i saw kiddie designs that i was pretty sure would prettify Vania's little corner even more! it took me a whole afternoon to decide which design to get and eventually settled for the Owl and Swing design which was very perfect, btw! i love that they are made of premium quality, matte finish vinyl stickers that doesn't look cheap compared to the ones i bought from a department store. they're very easy to install, are removable and doesn't leave an ugly white stain if you wish to reposition the sticker/s. for this particular design, it took me the whole afternoon of Saturday to install everything- from removing the old decal, to cleaning the whole wall, to carefully cutting the parts one by one and sticking them accordingly. i had to modify the branches though cos i ran out of space but all in all, i love everything! but most importantly, Vania loved the owls! and the tree and colorful leaves and the cute dotted birds! im just too happy to have discovered Wall Deco PH!
i am now looking into other designs for Vania's very own bedroom and Isabel's room too. im even thinking of getting one for the kitchen! i think i might just go into a wall-decal-sticking frenzy! haha!
