The Metro's 35th Anniversary Sale, happening today October 13th until the 15th, tested my aptitude for domestication and I am so proud to say that this momma right here went home with 10 home essentials bargain finds! What can I say.. I can spot a good deal from miles away! ;)
Sharing with you guys my top 10 favorite home essentials I spotted while shopping at the 35th Anniversary Sale of the Metro Store!
BAKING DISHES
Pyrex Basics Value Pack gives you the most bang for you buck. At P1084.82 for two after discount, this already gives us baking mommas a pair rectangular and loaf dishes-- the most essential sizes for any kitchen.
There is also the pie plate + loaf dish pack as well as a rectangular dish + pie plate combination, all of which are also on discount at 30%!
This large Anchor rectangular dish I've been eyeing for some time now. I already have 2 of this size but I still waaant this because, yes, it's blue! Originally priced at P799, you can now buy this for P399 only! Quite a steal, eh?
KITCHEN PANS
There are a lot of good ideals for their kitchen pans but this particular set, the Meyer Pans Value Pack caught my eye because, you guessed it again, it's blue! I want these hanging in my kitchen but I don't think I'll ever use them because they make for perfect dirty kitchen decors. Haha!
DINNERWARE SETS
Again, quite a lot of dinnerware sets at The Metro Store but this pristine white set from Arcopal is a favorite! My dinner plates are all white while my serveware are mostly printed and colored (and all in the shades of blue!) so this right here is a good addition. Another bargain find at P999 for a 6PC set! The Red border set sells for P1249.
If you want something more country style, this particular set right here of checkered design you can buy per piece and mix and match them to suit your taste.

This Japanese Collection bowls make for a good addition to my growing turquoise collection of dinnerware! Way too pretty for a color combination of turquoise, blush and brown-- how could I pass up the chance to get a bowl or two? ;)

Seriously, need I say more? At P299/pc, this will make any dining table Pinterest-ready!
Aesthetics aside, this is microwavable and dishwasher safe too. Form and function, yes? I just wish they were oven safe as well!
BATH ESSENTIALS
How often do you change towels? And how often do you replace them?
Towels should be changed every 3 days-- or less depending on usage. Experts say that we should replace towels once they lose their absorbability, or every one or two years, whichever comes first. With that in mind, it's best have a good supply of towels-- for your family and guests! Found the best towel deal at The Metro store for P400 for two!

CURTAINS
Curtains! I change curtains as often as I change our sheets so I like stocking up on them whenever there's a sale in town. This time around though, I bought linen ones for our living area. I initially wanted these for the bedroom but our living room needs a set of solid color ones so..
For me, these were the best finds-- from P550 down to just P250 per panel!
